There should be a switch near the bottom, the same switch that allows you to lock it. You just pull it the other way and hold it down. A message should display that it is shutting off.

Dont no how to put vidoes on my mp3

Hello,

This mp3 / video device willl require a converter program for putting videos in the matching format before transferring to the player.

For the correct downloads for your player select the GoGear Flash 4GB on this search page listing all 4GB Flash players:
http://www.search.philips.com/search/search?h=all&o=support&l=global&s=all&q=GoGear+Flash+4GB+video
Select your exact player model from the list. 2 Players are on this list.
When having another model, enter the typical name / size / functions in the search bar.

Once selected the exact model all support for the GoGear will be available:
updates; frequently asked questions; quick start guide; user manual and software & drivers downloads.
Media converter software can be downloaded as a zip file.
Right click and select "Save Target as..." the zip file to a location on the computer.
Next unzip the file.
Finally run the Arcsoft mediaconverter for conversion of your videos into
the fitting format for your player.

If this was helpful I'd appreciate your vote.

Will not start

I have a Philips GoGear SA3025/37 that is somewhat similar to the Philips 4GB digital audio player. Maybe your audio/video player circut board is messed up. Try getting a new one.

I need to convert video to my 4GB AUDIO VIDEO PLAYER

You need to download the Windows Video Codec pack, or download the latest version of quicktime to acquire more video codecs.

You may need some more detailed assistance after doing that.

If the video you are trying to convert is DRM-protected, then it is not compatible with your GoGear - and the Media Converter will not convert it.
