I just had this happen to me too! Are Sony servers down today?

I have the same problem, but it's NOT netflix dawn or anything like that, because Pandora doesn't work either, or any internet services on my Sony Bluray player, so I know it's Sony Internet Services who refuse to connect to the internet, whats the problem SONY?

Kills me is I can watch you tube one my sony and access netflix on a cheapo best buy wifi blue ray but Sony seems to be limiting netflix viewing a lot...

Yeah I'm getting same on my blu ray. If you go to Netflix online and type in the code it says 600 is not a valid error code. Netflix has been a real pain latley..

it means that netflix is down right now. Netflix problably got hacked in one way or another... or they might just be doing maintenance or something like that. On the bright side, your player is fine.

that is unless your pandora and hulu and others are not working too...if nothing is working then your usb device may be overheated or connection down.

I'm getting the same problem intermittently. Does anyone know what's up? I called Sony last time and they said they were having trouble with the network and it would be fixed shortly (which it was). However, it happened again yesterday so I don't know what's going on with them.

I'm sorry to inform you that the Blu-ray player does not feature streaming videos from Netflix.

This problem can also occur when Sony brings down their servers for maintenance. In my case it was NOT a NetFix problem.
This happened to me at 7:00pm Pacific time, which is a really bad time to take down a server for maintenance. I did get through to technical support with minimal delay. Support was no help, other than to confirm that the service was down. So it was not an account or BluRay player problem. Just wait 2-3 hours and the service will come back.
I was also told that the servers com down for maintenance about twice a month!
The tech support number is: 239-768-7547. I recommend calling early and often. If customer frustration is registered frequently enough, Sony may elect to deploy redundant servers so they can do maintenance with out shutting down the service for all of their customers.
