I have a blue icon with dots on it at the top of my the phone in the middle of the screen. How do i get rid of it?

The model indicated uses what is called a Optical Light Engine, it is a very expensive part and likely is your problem---not much else will cause this trouble.

Looks like your wifi is on and is set to the default internet option. Turn off the wifi first by going to the wifi icon in your menu and tapping the wifi circle in the middle.
To change the internet profile i.e. 3G go to menu/internet/settings/internet profiles and choose your preffered option, normally you will need to request internet settings from your network provider by sending a text.
The blue icon you speak of is tells you wifi is on this should go away once wifi is deactivated better to do this as wifi eats up the battery on this phone big time.

This is a defective Light Engine Assembly. The average cost to replace it is around $650.00

its sounds like the guns has burnt your yube, when switching of does your tv show a bright circle in the middel, or while watching. Smack your tv on the side while on see if the picture goes away or make a bright circle in the middel, this is caused by a bad solder joint but you wont get rid of the bunt pixels sorry.

i) send out to a cell phone repair and they will print out contacts., will cost u $25-$50.

ii) hook up bluetooth to your pc (check your manual or one online) and download the numbers. this is pretty tough without see stuff on the screen, imho.

iii) check manual (online or yours) to save all contacts, at least as many as possible onto your sim card.

this actually just happened to me a week ago, but i have a backup prepaid v300, so i can put my sim in there for contacts. good luck!

The image processor must be getting old and worn out. Call Epson or go onto their website and see if it is  a dDIY project or if you will ned to send it in.

Check whether your mobile's bluetooth is on, if on thats why u r gettings blue dot on screen

Sounds like stuck pixels, you really can't fix that. Do some google research if you are curious what a stuck pixel is.

the blue icon on the top of the screen is the indication that the area has the coverage for 3G usage..it will stay there whenever you are in the 3G area. it wont be removed unless you are outside the 3g area..and don't worry it wont affect any of the phone function..
