For CRT projection TV's, this indicates that the Green picture tube is burned (warn out). The less green that strikes the screen, the more redish the image will look. You will need to find an old school TV repair shop that knows how to replace picture tubes.
In the case of a DLP style TV, the color wheel needs replacing.

Barb, thats a code for convergence error, the convergence circuit has failed, the IC`s will have to be replaced and may have 1 or 2 resistors burnt, this is not a job for a "layperson", board has to be removed, IC`s and possibly resistors un-soldered , removed and new ones re-soldered in, requires accurate voltmeter, soldering equipment and the ability to solder very small joints, I`d advise you to call a tv tech for this one, hope this helped, BMW Rider
Yes it certainly sounds like you have the old convergence outpuyt IC's that have gone bad in this TV set. If you have the soldering skills, and know how to work on printed circuit boards, you can repolace both of the STK convergence IC's. If you do not, you can get the complete convergence board at http://www.ptscorp.com, and the Hitachi board number is JT22056. Good Luck
