My Samung P3 will no longer keep a charge. I can leave it on the charger all day, then turn it on and the display shows a half charge. After which, it will just shut off saying battery not charged. What can I do?

Ifthe cell phone battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be wornout. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cyclesand will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up atall. ORThe battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected thebattery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. Ifthe battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to bereplaced.

How can I change the battery in m9100 kocaso

Try the follow to see if it will fix it:
There is a power reset button near the charging port. It looks like a tiny hole. While plugged into the charger, use a paperclip to push the button inside this hole for 3-5 seconds. If it turns on, please allow it to charge for 4-6 hours before using it. If you leave it on the charger for longer than the allocated time, you will go back to having the same problem as before. If the power does not come on, please leave it plugged up for 4-6 hours then disconnect it from the power and turn it on.

If your tablet does not have the reset button: With the tablet plugged into the charger, hold the power button for 10 seconds then click the volume up once. If it turns on, please allow it to charge for 4-6 hours before using it. If you leave it on the charger for longer than the allocated time, you will go back to having the same problem as before. If the power does not come on, please leave it plugged up for 4-6 hours then disconnect it from the power and turn it on.

After performing the power reset on the device the device will behave in one of the following ways:
1. The tablet will turn on like normal.
2. The tablet will show the battery icon only.
3. The tablet will show nothing on the screen at all.

All of these are normal for the device and should not be cause for alarm. If the device still fails to power on after being left on the charger for 4-6 hours,

Then most likely the battery will need replacing.

Please make sure the tablet is charged for at least 4-6 hours. Also, make sure the correct button is being used, oftentimes we hear the back or home button has been used in error. Motorola Fire XT (XT530) charging problem .

Motorola FIRE XT Tips for extending battery life
Back to Previous Page

Are there any tips on how to extend the battery life?
Things you should know about charging your battery.

New batteries are not fully charged. Plug the battery charger into your phone and an electrical outlet. Your phone might take several seconds to start charging the battery.
Tips:
  • It may take several charging cycles for your battery to reach optimum performance.
  • The battery charger shipped with this device is designed specifically for Motorola mobile phones. Other chargers might take longer to charge your battery, or cause your calls to fail during charging.
  • You can charge your phone via USB cable but this charging time will vary based on computer specifications.
Tips to extend battery life:
  • Select a shorter backlight duration
  • Lower the display brightness
  • Use the AC adapter to charge your phone whenever possible
  • Turn Bluetooth off when not in use
  • Turn Wi-Fi off when not in use
  • Close any third party applications running in the background
  • Playing music, videos and viewing images in your phone will affect your battery life
General Battery use & safety
  • Motorola recommends you always use Motorola-branded batteries and chargers. The warranty does not cover damage caused by non-Motorola batteries and/or chargers.

Caution: Use of an unqualified battery or charger may present a risk of fire, explosion, leakage, or other hazard. Improper battery use, or use of a damaged battery, may result in a fire, explosion, or other hazard.
  • Your battery can be charged without it being fully depleted, and can be charged every day if desired.
  • Battery usage by children should be supervised.
  • Important: Motorola mobile devices are designed to work best with qualified batteries. If you see a message on your display such as Invalid Battery, Invalid Charger or Unable to Charge, take the following steps:
    • Remove the battery and inspect it to confirm that it bears a Motorola "Original Equipment" hologram;
    • If there is no hologram, the battery is not a qualified battery
    • If there is a hologram, replace the battery and retry charging it
    • If the message remains, contact a Motorola Authorized Service Center
  • New batteries or batteries stored for a long time may take more time to charge.
  • Charging precautions: When charging your battery, keep it near room temperature. Never expose batteries to temperatures below 0°C (32°F) or above 45°C (113°F) when charging. Always take your mobile device with you when you leave your vehicle
  • When storing your battery, keep it in a cool, dry place.
  • It is normal over time for battery life to decrease, and for the battery to exhibit shorter runtime between charges or require more frequent or longer charging times. Motorola batteries are designed to last between 350-700 charge/discharge cycles at room temperature. This amounts to approximately a year to a year and a half of battery use for most people.
  • Avoid damage to battery and mobile device. Do not disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred, or submerge the battery or mobile device. Avoid dropping the battery or mobile device, especially on a hard surface. If your battery or mobile device has been subjected to such damage, take it to a local service center before using. Do not attempt to dry it with an appliance or heat source, such as a hair dryer or microwave oven.
  • Use care when handling a charged battery-particularly when placing it inside a pocket, purse, or other container with metal objects. Contact with metal objects (such as jewelry, keys, beaded chains) could complete an electrical circuit (short circuit), causing the battery to become very hot, which could cause damage or injury.

Chair not holding charge

It's your batteries. If they charge at all, your charger is okay, if not at all, new charger is in order.

Don't run your batteries down past half-disharge if you can avoid it. Charge daily or even more often if you are a road warrior, but try to keep them topped off. They don't have a memory.

LGKF600 will not charge or turn On

This is currently happening to me too.
When this sign comes up you may need to hold the charger in place for the kf 600 sign to stay up. The longer it stays up it will then show the charging sign after this.
Best thing to do when you see this is just to keep the charger in leave it for about 10mins and then try turning on. You probaly have a fault with your charger.

No problem, just ?

No issue. The charger is adapted to the battery. You can leave the battery over night in the charger without problem. The fact that the light goes off means that the charger surveys the voltage and switches off when the battery is charged.

If you leave it longer and the battery looses charge, it will be recharged automatically.

Cheers
