Hello, my name is Shahzeb Fazal. I recently purchased the "nerf raider rapid fire cs-35" and i found some problems. first of all the handle to reload got stuck forward, and it wouldn't go down as it's supposed to. After 2 days of pushing it with all my might, pushing across a table it came back! The relief on face just made my day. I tried shooting, and nothing came out. I tried again, jammed nothing came out and the dart got stuck. I tried a different clip, still nothing came out and the dart was stuck. So its not the clips it's the gun. I paid $30 for it, im afraid I cant pay for a new one. Please help, and I appreciate you reading this and have a nice day! -Shahzeb Fazal

SOURCE: My kid opened the Nerf

Take the rear bolt cover off ( 2 screws) . Reach inside with your finger and try spinning the spring. For some reason the spring will eventually move to a position that when compacted will bind with the bolt pass through hole.

SOURCE: How many and what type

Wow, this is hands on the dumbest question EVER.

You know, no offense or anything...

Look- this is a manually operated toy.

Unless you or I got the name screwed up, or that picture up above is incorrect...

Oh wait, I just looked at it on Amazon.

Two solutions-

1.) READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, THEY'RE THERE FOR A REASON!!!

2.) Pull the cocking slide on top of the gun back, after inserting a bullet. Pull the trigger to fire.

That's all!!!

Oh yeah, 1+1=2, in case you didn't know that either.

LOL just kidding!!!

Good luck (idk why)...

There are multiple factors in the inconsistency of your product's functioning.

1.) You have not successfully screwed in the battery cartridge tight enough so as the metal conductors are touching (with pressure).

2.) Your batteries are dead or almost dead.

3.) You put 4 bullets in your clip - kidding :)

4.) The circuitry may not be high quality, was your gun tampered with or from an unreliable source?

5.) Your jam door may not be high quality and could often slip from its locking point, I'd suggest taping it momentarily to keep pressure on it just to see if this is the case.

6.) The clip may be loosely in also, I'd also look into that.

If your gun stopped working permanently- I'd suggest looking inside at the white plunger, and the parts that release it from its pressurized position. There are many diagrams on the internet of the internals for it.

My 8 year old grandson brought home his ner n-strike raider CS-35 and without reading instructions promptly shoved the drum magazine directly into the main gun body without first inserting the drum...

unscrew the entier gun... all nerf guns are screwed together. you can practically cut the gun in half by unscrewing it. just make sure to put everything back how you found it. good luck to you.

Nerf Vulcan won't auto-fire

I had the same problem with two guns out of the box. Turned out that the dividers in the battery tray kept the batteries from touching each other on some brands of batteries. Remove the dividers and should work. You can verify this by measuring the voltage on the two terminals of the battery pack.
