Dear user,

Looks like you are loosing the link , please try to move towards the Wireless transmitting device where it is installed. it will increase the signal strength, if you cant move away, keep your laptop such that its not blocked by cupboards, walls or any big objects

My internet keeps connecting and disconnecting whenever I try and get online?

Hello,

Thank you for posting your question here.

I suggest that you go to safe mode with networking to test your internet connection there. Safe mode is the basic operating system interface of your computer thus disabling any advance softwares which might be affecting your connection now.

To go to safe mode, do the following:

Restart your computer and keep tapping F8 until you see the options to go to "Safe Mode with Networking".

Highlight safe mode with networking by using your arrow keys. Press enter.

Once you are in safe mode, try connecting to your internet and observe if the problem is gone. If internet is good, then there's an update or software change that affected your connection.

You can fix that by doing a system restore. Think about the date when you had no problem with your internet. and do the system restore.

Start > Programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore

Select the date when you had no issue yet and let it restart. Check.

Another possible reason is an outdated network adapter driver. This happens when there are changes in the software. You can update it manually which takes time maybe 15 minutes or more or you can install Radarsync and let it update all the outdated drivers in your computer. You won't have to do anything at all. All driver updates will be taken care of.

Another possible issue is your internet service. If all of the above possible problems are covered with no fix at all, then you better contact your Internet service provider.

I hope this helps!

If you have any questions, please drop me a line and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

I have a ZyXEL P-660R-D1 router connected to my Linksys Wireless-G 2.4 GHz Broadband router and I'm having a few problems. First, the internet light on my ZyXEL won't light up EVER. I am not sure if that...

First of, unplug your Linksys and go right into your ZyXEL, (you might need to run a cable) Run that way for a while, If your not cut off then it's your router. Do this first and we can go from there.

Try to access yahoo mail & just shows cannot display web page.can access other web sites as normal

Restart computer and your internet connection. This should take care of the problem.

When you disconnect your internet connection, leave it unplugged for 5 minutes. This will clear itself and reset.

Problem with belkin router

assuming you are connecting wirelessly; you may have to check that the router is allocating ip addresses automatically to your pc's. connect one of your pc's to the router via the RJ45 network cable that was supplied and not wirelessly and type 192.168.2.1 in your internet browser, this will take you into the routers setup menu. Look for a menu refering to 'DHCP' and make sure that this is enabled, then look for the channel number that the router is using (normally 6 or 11) and make a note as if you are still experiencing signal loss, you can get back into the router and change to any channel between these numbers incase you are getting appliances interfering with the signal, save and exit from the router menu. disconnect the cable then go to control panel, network connections and right click on the connection you are using whether it is wired or wireles and click on properties. Look for the line TCP/IP and again click on the line and select properties, then make sure automatically obtain ip address is selected, ok and close window. Restart the pc's and you should have a connection.
