Re: I bought a new LG LCD Television but cant find a way...
I believe the JVC HR-S6800 is a VCR. Older VCRs have composite video outputs you can hook up to your TV.
Here is a good video on that.

Try this
Ensure that a cartridge is not inserted
Hold down the Hint (?) button while turning the unit on. Continue to hold the Hint button down until the LEAPSTER menu appears. When the LEAPSTER menu screen appears, press the A button.Touch each of the crosshairs that appear with the stylus, Restart unit
The 076N0ES010 came with two different JVC VCRs (HR-A591U and HR-A592U). The remote does not come with multiple codes and will only control JVC TVs. It's possible that it will not control JVC TVs after the VCRs were made (2003 is the listed release date for the HR-A592U). The manual for the HR-A591U is here: http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/00/98/82885ien.pdf . See page 11 of the pdf.
You will need a different universal remote to control the VCR and the TV together. Alternatively, control each device separately.
Chances are that you bought an HDTV ready set which required an additional element to be added into the set in order to get true HDTV channels. This means that you only have analog. just because the set says HDTV doesn't make it a true HDTV recorder. Does it say HDTV ready??
the differences are --what it has on the back of your set. There should be more input output accesses. not just 4 or 6
