I tried to reset the bios password for HP Mini 1001TU intel atom but i failed after tying all the possible ways removing the bios and other ways but how can i safely remove the forgotten password in a system that show system Halted

Reset eeebox pc
  • Turn on your Eee pc
  • Continuously press F9 until a screen comes up with three options.
  • The third will be 'reset to factory settings.
  • This will delete all data and reset your eee pc.
  • Press down until it is highlighted then press enter.
  • It will tell you what it is about to do and ask you to type yes to continue.
  • Type in 'yes' - no capital letters
  • It will reset your Eee pc and ask you to press enter to reboot.

Your eee pc will then reboot and ask you for a name and password and all that stuff it asked you to do when you got it.

Intel will support the Windows Vista Aero desktop theme beginning with the Intel 945G/GM Express chipset and Intel 965 Express chipset families, as well as with future desktop and mobile chipsets.

The Atom is a low power single core processor, it is roughly same speed and similar microinstruction set as a pentium 4 single core, and uses far less power and produces less heath than a regular pentium 4.

The intel core duo is a dual core processor that uses 64-bit core duo (dual cpu inside) processor.
