Lost instructions for my epson stylus sx215 I need to know how to change ink cartridges and also dont know how to work scanner

Open the front cover and the cartridge holder will move to the middle so that you can just pull it out s35

Hi joanmcd2, Just go to control panel and go to (printers for xp)/(device and printers win 7) open the properties of the driver and goto Maintenance tab and then click the EPSON Status Monitor button, you will see the ink levels and there will be an option to replace the ink.

press the index sheet button and the scan button at the same time, you then get setup menu. use" >" to select "change ink cartidge". the ink cartidge will move to the opening position. lift the grey plastic clip at the back, and it will open towards you. then they just pull out

In control panel select printer and faxes--select printer epson SX215-right click--printing preferences-under the maintanence tab-- select the printer cartridge replacement--follow the steps-- that's all.

• Select "menu" and "setup mode"
• Select "maintenance" and "change ink cartridge"

its because the ink housing will only aline when the ink is empty its not like any other printer that you can line the housing up. Wait until you run out of ink then lift up the lid and the housing will be alined - its stupid system and epson dont tell you this when you buy the produc

Hi Switch on the printer give a print job and open the panel the head comes to the centre and then you can remove.
