Samsung scaner driver - Samsung SCX 4521F All-In-One Laser Printer

1. check scanner cable.
2. check scanner home position sensor
3. check belt
4. replace scanner motor
5. main board

Try changing your usb printer cable with a different brand. I have had lost of machine not wanting to scan because of faulty usb cables, even though you can print it refuses to scan. If this still is not helpful, try downloading the latest drivers from samsungs website.
