Re: How do i upload picture/images and/or Videos on my...
You can't upload a video to StumbleUpon, and the only picture that you can upload is your profile picture by loggin into StumbleUpon and clicking on settings, then profile picture and then uploading a picture.
If you are referring to adding a website or picture/video link to StumbleUpon so other people can get to it when they click the Stumble button on their browser, all you have to do is click on the Thumbs Up button on your Stuble toolbar in your browser once you are on the page you want to share.
Re: How do i upload picture/images and/or Videos on my...
For pictures, right click on the image you want and then click save as. It will save it to where ever you want. For movie downloads it's more difficult. I'd say the easiest way would be to use Firefox browser and download the addon Download Helper. With this it should be pretty easy.

You need permissions by each website to upload, unless they have provided a free upload area. Many times, you just need to register for a website account to accomplish this. If you contact the site administrator using their email address, they can provide you with specifics.
If you want to BROADCAST YOURSELF or just upload a few MPG's or MOV's or 3GP's then YouTube is the website for you. You can even watch TV shows and create your own channel that others can subscribe to and if you link it to your social websites subscribers and members can be notified or new channel postings.
Creating a YouTube Account: A few years ago Google took over control of YouTube so if you already have a gmail or googlemail account then you can access YouTube through your account click the image below
If you don't already have a google account then you can sign up to YouTube using their standard login page click the image below to START
Once created you can either sign in through the google browser and then access your YouTube account through your Google Products on your Manage account page as shown below middle right, you may also notice Picasa and Blogger also owned and managed by Google.
Uploading to your YouTube: The main reason for Youtube is to share your video and media creations be careful not to publish copyrighted materials like music videos unless you have change part OR all of the audio with public domain video clips.
Click on the link above to get to the upload screen you can either upload a video that you already have on your computer that you have created OR direct from your webcam
Uploading from your Mobile If like me you want to bypass your PC and upload direct to YouTube then you can send them to the following youtube address, click the image below for more information you will also need to make sure that you have your e-mail activated via your mobiles service provider these can usually be set up by opening the SMS messages that are sent to your phone when you register if you don't have these then a simple phone call can have then resent to your handset, its a good idea to copy them you your SIM card memory if you ever change handsets.
Copyright Issues
Important: Do not upload any TV shows, music videos, music concerts, or commercials without permission unless they consist entirely of content you created yourself. The Copyright Tips page and the Community Guidelines can help you determine whether your video infringes someone else's copyright. By clicking "Upload Video", you are representing that this video does not violate YouTube's Terms of Use and that you own all copyrights in this video or have authorization to upload it.
Embedding your YouTube Videos: Once you have uploaded your videos to your YouTube account you can then link them directly into your website OR weblog by either adding the HTML code via the blogger control panel on your blog OR by setting up a dedicated iframe on your website.
And you will see the list of all your videos if you want to embed a video into you website OR weblog double click the one you desire you will then see the extra menu to embed to your own website OR weblog click the relevant <Embed> button and you can then copy and paste the code use <CTRL>+<A> to select the code in the correct box then <CTRL>+<C> to copy and then <CTRL>+<V> to paste it to your site to prevent any typo errors.
If you want to test a link then copy and past this into your weblog
To link DIRECT to your beloved Facebook; Bebo; Twitter; Myspace; Blogger OR one of the popular bookmarking sites like Digg, StumbleUpon OR delicious OR even the humble e-mail
THEN click on the relevant button the URL will be the same as above only in the shortened form similar to a bit.ly shortened weblink.
You will then be taken to the correct website I recommend that you login to your desired social website target site and keep this in another browser TAB then it will give the option of a simple SHARE. Alternatively you can link those sites that you use the most to YouTube using Autoshare on the the Connect Accounts page
Linking your Google and YouTube Accounts: It is a good idea to link both accounts under the management panel this will allow you to login to YouTube from the google browser OR the google dashboard link them together in
I however recommend that you keep them linked you will see that this is the case under the last menu option Other Popular similar sites of interest: There a many other websites of the same type for example Vimeo also a great site that offers similar linking and embedding of video clips to websites
You are able to choose a picture to represent you and your Channel on YouTube. To upload an image to your Channel please follow the steps below:
1. Click "My Account" 2. Under "Manage My Channel" click the "Personal Profile" link. 3. Click the "Upload an image" link under the "Profile Picture" section. 4. Click the "Browse" button and select an image. 5. Click the "Upload picture" button.
Note: You can upload a JPG, GIF, BMP, or PNG file. You cannot use animated GIF files as your Profile Picture.
Do not upload pictures containing celebrities, nudity, artwork or copyrighted images. images will be resized to 130px by 96px and will be viewable within 6 hours.
You can also choose to make your thumbnail profile icon a still frame from one of your videos. To choose this option, go to your "Personal Profile" page, click the "Choose from your video stills" link and select the video still you'd like to serve as your icon. Hope this would help :)
Though
Facebook is a very popular social networking site, it is definitely not
one of the easiest sites to use! Although Facebook is feature rich, the
user interface can be fairly complicated. Do not worry, here is the
most straight forward way to upload photos to Facebook.
Login to your Facebook account, and from the top navigation menu select "Profile", this should take you to your profile page. Facebook Navigation
Below your status message you will notice a series of tabs, click on the tab that says "Photos". Profile page tabs.
You should see a button to your right which says "Create a Photo Album" (Facebook Image Album),
click on it and you're on your way to upload and share your fabulous
pictures with friends and family. Remember the pictures are controlled
by the Privacy or Sharing settings that controls who can and cannot see
your images.
Yet another shortcut for posting images on Facebook is as follows:
Once
you're logged into Facebook, see the Status message box and right below
it is the attach tab with options for attaching photos, videos and
more. Status Message Posting options.
Now,
click on the Photo button. You'll get a drop-down menu to upload your
photo if you're looking to upload a single image as well as an option to
upload a new album. Click on your choice and you're ready to share your
images with the world of Facebook users. Attach Options.
Exporting Pictures from Applications
Facebook
also provides you with the ability to upload images directly from
various imaging and image management applications. This makes things
easier for sophisticated users who use special software to store and
catalog their images, since the workflow becomes much easier to handle.
You can try meebo.com, sign up here and log in to your account, after that you can add any online mail account which is associated with the meebo (you'll find it on the home page when you are logged in). Click on the "connect to facebook" sign in using your facebook user id (email address) and password. But this is only for chatting, you can't do anything with it like tagging, poking, uploading etc...
Good luck..
Thanks for using FixYa.
iPhoto is for still pictures. iMovie is for videos. Use a card reader to download your videos to a folder you create on your desktop. From there, you can import to iMovie or just play them using Quicktime.
