I can't change the letter size of my words on facebook. They are super small and I want them back to normal.

  • Anonymous May 04, 2011

Facebook doesn't have font settings on the webpage. I suspect that the browser that you are using has been "zoomed out" which makes text appear smaller. Try reseting your zoom level.

What internet browser are you using? Mozilla Firefox? Internet Explorer? What is your default font size in your options? have you tried re-setting the default font size for your browser?

It all depends on your internet browser, I couldn't find anything to change text on facebook itself.

For firefox at the top of the screen go to view>zoom then click zoom text only, then go view>zoom>zoom in.
There will be a tick beside the zoom text only to let you know this function is on.

For internet explorer, go to view>text size and then decide which size you would like.

For google chrome the only thing I can see is just to zoom the page in, can't immediately see a text specific option.

That's the thing. I am on Firefox, but there is no view box to click on. I have done this in the past but now I can"t find that option anywhere.

Im guessing your using firefox 4 with the little orange firefox thing in the corner instead of the normal menus?

If you press the ALT key the classic menu should appear and you can use that, it will go away after you leave the website though.
Also you can permanently change it back by clicking the firefox button> options > menu bar

I am using Omnipage 17 through Microsoft Word 2003 wth an HP scanner. I am scanning text. The default page setting is for legal size paper, and there is a long list of paper sizes one has to scroll through...

Linda I suspect you can open a template called normal.dot and change the paper size then save the template.

On facebook very small letter i cannot read,i want to back on normal

If you use Internet Explorer, click the Page drop down menu, and select the options in either "Zoom" or "Text Size" that are to your liking. 100% and Medium are the defaults respectively.

If you are using Firefox, select View from the menu, expand Zoom, and click Reset.

Let me know if I can help you with anything else. Thanks!

The letters come out too small. How can I change

Normally you have to change the font size from the program that you're running, like notepad, text document, Microsoft word, you have to adjust the setting yourself on how big you want the font to be.

If you are using windows Vista, you can just simply right click on the desktop and choose personalize... At the left of your view, you can see that the is the word for adjusting the font size ( DPI ).. You can enlarge it to 120 DPI or just customize your desired size... Normally, the default is 96 DPI... Remember... the effect only happens after you restart your computer... The picture below will guide you... Hope this method will also works in other windows such as XP or 7...

It is printing very small...too small to read without a magnifyer. How do I restore the orginal size font?

Set the font number on your favorite text editing program to something legible, for example, in Word, a size from 5 to 10 is normal letter.
If letter stills going little on printer, then take it for repair.

The letters are too small

You normally do this in the software package that you are using to type the letters, for example Word.

If you are talking about printing from the Internet, the font size in Internet Explorer can be changed by going to View - Text size. Look at the print preview before you print.

Alternatively copy and paste the text into Word and you can format it how you like.
