It is because system requirements of the game does not match ur system graphics and ram. u should 3d analyze and swift shader 3.0 to play this game .follow these steps and play the game.AT last i've found the settings in 3d analyze for spiderman friend or foe.it is a long process.first of all,

1. download swift shader 3.0 and its fastest configuration from
"ANKITTHEMOSTWANTED"

2.Then extract swift shader in any of your folder.then copy "D3D9.DLL and the configuration FROM x86 and paste it in spiderman friend or foe folder.then open configuration settings and change the thumbnail=1.
3. after that open 3d analyze and do the following steps.

a.IN Hardware limits
tick all the four options except emulate othe dx8.1 caps

b.THEN OPEN GL OPTIONS
tick all the four except force small textures (32*32)

c. IN VERTEX AND PIXEL SHADER OPITIONS
TICK force max.pixel shader1.1,skip pixel shader version1.1,skip pixel shader version 2.0

d. in direct x device options
tick force 100hz

e. at last
vendor id=4098 and device id = 20040

now click run and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOTE: when u click run at the first time it will show it will restore the defaults. no worries man ,just click ok and play.no lag no errors enjoy dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    when i do all these settings in for spiderman friend or foe my game starts but all the charecters such as spiderman & others become white. . . what should i do . .. . reply guys urgent please!!!!!!

The most common problem shall be that your system might not meet the minimum requirements that the game needs...If you are sure that the requirements are met then you shall try to get another fresh copy of it as this may be corrupted.....If the minimum requirements are not met you can emulate the graphics that is needed for the game using 3D analyser....

Hi! try to check if the driver for the webcam is installed on the machine, go to start->right click on my computer->properties->hardware->device manager. Check if the driver is there, uninstall and reinstall the driver by following the steps below:

Drivers
1.Click Start > My Computer.
2.Double-click the icon for XP (C:) drive.
3.You may see a message saying "These files are hidden". Click the Show the contents of this folder option.
4.Double-click the Applications folder.
5.Double-click the Drivers folder.
6.Inside this folder you will see folders for each device you can re-install, for example, Audio.
7.Double-click the folder and look for an icon called Setup.exe or Install.exe.
8.Double-click the icon and follow any on-screen instructions to re-install the driver.
9.After installing drivers it is recommended that you restart your computer.

***you have to run a program or a software (yahoo messenger, etc) for you to test if the webcam if it is working or not***

Main menu with no picture icons
Looks like the ShellDisk (Sanyo proprietary disk) is corrupted. If you have a good copy of it you can try to restore it but most people don't know how to back up it at first place.

do you see the speaker icon in the lower right hand corner of the screen?If not go to start>control panel (or settings>control panel) and then click on sound. In the center area is a sliding tool bar make sure it's not all the way to the left. There will be a box saying to "place volume icon in the taskbar' click on that. Then click on apply and then click on advanced.

This is the same menu you get when double clicking the icon in the lower right corner now visible next to the clock. if double clik on it and show the full sound menu? make sure on the bottom of each menu option it's not check for mute. then click on the options and advanced controls and you can add panels to the menu.

If this doesn't work then close all that right click on my computer select manage and select hardware and select device manager. Do you see any red x's and yellow esclamation marks? If so these are not working properly. And need to be addressed.
