Hi,
The manual is located here, and it recommends the following procedure, which starts on page 18.
Connect the Jetdirect box to the printer and the network and power on.
Press the Test button on the back of the Jetdirect box to print a configuration page.
The configuration page should show the IP address of the Jetdirect box.
If this is an IP address in the normal range of your network, ie the first three numbers of the Jetdirect box's IP address and your computer's IP address is the same (such as 192.168.0.) then simply type the IP address into your computers internet browser and you can reach the configuration page. The steps on page 58 detail the user interface for the web login.
If the Jetdirect box does not get an IP address withing 2 minutes of it booting up, it assigns itself an IP address of 192.0.0.192, and you can connect to it over the network if you change your own network settings to 192.0.0. and a number from 1-254 (but not 192).
You can find instructions on the HP Jetdirect Print Server 170X Installation and Configuration Guide (Click Here).
Page 59 will show you "Using the Embedded Web Server" to configure the network settings.
Hi, Check the manual which has been provided with the product. In order to find a computer's modem IP address provided by a ISP, you can visit http://www.ip-details.com/
