Dryer door My dryer door will not open. I'm guessing my dryer is probably a Kenmore 98702 Stacked Washer / Dryer. It is a Kenmore, stacked model in any case.

Get the control panel off and remove the water pressure tubing. Blow it out and reconnect to pressure switch. Remove water so that pressure can once again build inside the tube. Retry>

if you forced it open, you probably broke the lid safety switch. depending on how technical you are, might be time to call in the repairman.

Washer works fine dryer does nothig
Looks like my Maytag. My dryer belt is broken so doesn't tumble. Check by taking two screws out of tilted panel and look at belt. If it isn't heating probably heat coil. If nothing probably electrical. Maybe door switch is open circuited.
