Hi, I'm using a Belkin N1 wireless router. I mostly have a stable internet connection, but once in a while the "wireless" icon start blinking orange. What is this? My internet some times get really really slow! Please help. Regards, Sigurdpus.-

A Belkin router doesn't usually force the utilities page on you. I would advise checking your start page - you might have set it to your router's homepage by accident.

Please follow the below mentioned steps one by one

Step 1:Take a cable,connect one end to the modem and other end to the router (In the port named,Modem)

Step 2:Take another cable connect one end to the Computer at the back side and other end to the router (In any one of the port named,Wired)

Step 3:Open an Internet Explore and type 192.168.2.1

Step 4:Now you will see a belkin router Setup page

Step 5:On your left hand side you will see a menu named,Restore factory default,Click on it

Step 6:Now It will prompt you for a Login Paasowrd,You leave it blank and click on Submit

Step 7:Click on Restore Default,It will complete the process and bring it to the front page

Step 8:Now On the left hand side click on MAC Address

Step 9:Now it will prompt for a Login Password,You leave it blank and click on Submit

Step 10:On your left hand side click on Wifi protected setup (WPS)

Step 11:Change the WPS to disable and click on Apply Changes

Step 12:Unplug the power cable of both the modem and router

Step 13:After 10 secs,put the power cable only to the modem,and wait until all the lights in the modem gets litup(If all the lights doesn't got litup then please check with your Internet service Provider).After all the lights got litup,put the power cable to the Router,Check all the lights in the router will be stable

Step 14:Now check in your computer that you are able to go online in both wired ,wireless computers and in the wireless devices like IPOD,IPHONE,PSP

try resetting the router and then powercycling it

It seems like your router is configured once without any issues. Ignore that error message if you are connected with the internet. The setup couldnt find the Network adapter or the router because it is know more a factory default settings. It is been configured already

It might be an idea to upgrade the firmware which can be downloaded from manufacturers' website

its nothing 2 do with ur adapter  change ur wireless channel in ur router 2  manual 2 a stronger channel to 9,7,11

FixYa's Maanita was no help whatsoever, and worse, a complete waste of time.  I called Belkin who's tech guided me to the problem in ten minutes, whereas I wasted an hour and a half with FixYa. 

I AM USEING BITCOMET ,AND IM HAVING PROBLEMS FINDING A PORT WHICH WILL ALLOW MY DOWNLOADS TO BE QUICKER. HOW DO I SOLVE THIS PROBLEM?

Right click on the network icon in your task bar and click view wireless networks, then when all the networks show delete them all and close the window, next, a pop up will say found wireless connections click the icon again and look for your connection in the list and click connect and enter the pass phrase
