Repeatedly "internet disconnected" on wireless

Most Acers use an IPN2220 Wireless card. If yours does, you use XP, and your router is using WPA or WPA2 (TKIP or AES) security then you'll need to update the driver by searching for it manually using the Custom button (Hardware) in Windows update (instead of Express). This driver is not part of XP service pack 2 or 3. In my experience if you don't update to the newest common form of home wireless security (WPA2 AES) then the older formats seem to become unreliable in the way you discribe

Windows vista to windows xp sp2; the VGA and wireless don't work

uninstall the wireless driver and then reinstall it again and then install the vga driver and do the wireless configuration from the router page,and then try and install the wireless driver of xp and also install the vga driver of xp.......good luck.....

Acer Aspire (or rather expire) Help Please !!!

if you're using the service pack 1 then that could be your problem. If you go to the microsoft website and download the service pack 2 and save it somewhere and then burn it to a disc then put it onto the computer you put XP pro onto this could rectify those issues. I hope this works for you
