Your cartridge may need to cleaned. On the printer operator panel, press Setup button -> Maintenance -> Deep Clean Printhead. Your printer will then print a test page forcing ink through the cartridge nozzles and clean them.
If that doesn't help, your printer probably needs to be updated. The firmware update, available at http://bit.ly/p205fw, will help fix print quality issues.
If your printer is still having trouble recognizing your ink cartridge even after updating its firmware, it could be due to a faulty printhead. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center or visit Lexmark's website for additional assistance.

follow the steps below on how to successfully update your printer:
After successfully updating your printer, open the printer cover > re-insert the printhead > close the printer cover. If no printhead error comes up, continue with normal installation steps for cartridges. If error comes up again, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for further assistance.
