Try going into your computer settings and see if you can change which monitor it is outputting, This wouldn't be a TV problem as the tv just takes the picture as input, you have to figure out why the computer is sending it in a signal that the tv cant read.

Your screen resolution probably exceeds that of the tv.
try playing with your screen resolution.

Emerson lc320em2 how do we hook it up to netflix

The Emerson LC320EM2 is not a Smart TV. To display Netflix content, you can connect the TV to your computer via the VGA port on the TV. Then use the TV as your monitor; this may not work with HDCP content. To do this, turn off both the TV and the computer before connecting the devices. Then turn on the TV and set it to the VGA input (PC) before turning on the computer. (Note: you may have to enable the port in the BIOS on some laptops.) If your computer doesn't have a VGA port, try a DVI to VGA adapter. (This may not work with some video cards that only have digital signal output. Look at the port and make sure that the cable/adapter doesn't have more pins than the port.)

Alternatively, get a set top box with Netflix support. (Some Blu-ray players, the Roku box, Apple TV, or the WD Live Hub all have internet connection options and support Netflix. All will support a wired ethernet connection; some models will require a dongle to connect to a wifi network.)

Once you have the set top box, connect the TV to the box via a HDMI cable (purchased separately for most units). Connect to your internet connection and then log into Netflix, These steps will depend on the unit; please add a comment with your source of the Netflix content.

I hope this helps.

(I have an LG Smart TV; it is slow to find the wireless network when started. So expect some wait time before you can sign into Netflix.)

I want to connect my dell inspiron 1525 to my lcd hd ready tv but have no idea how to? Does anyone have any advice?

The 1525has a a hdmi port which you can plug a hdmi cord into. This may not support the audio. the tv and pc should detect the new monitor automatically or you may have to toggle it by hitting F4 key.

My neighbor bought a 32"

Unless the tv has a VGA input, or the laptop has a HDMI output, I am afraid you are going through too many conversions to make this work.

I am trying to hook up my Dell inspiron 1520 to my viewsonic n2750w tv. Is there an easy way to do this?

Yes there is... You are going to need a VGA cable and an 1/8 audio cable (for sound)

http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins1520/en/om_en/pdf/UX8623D.pdf - On page 29 it shows a picture of the right side of your computer. You will hook the VGA cable to the VGA port (Number 8 on the diagram).
The on your tv you will hook it up to the vga port as well. Page 7 of the following document shows a pictures of the back of your tv. You will hook it up to "L" on the diagram. Be careful to not bend the pins in the connector. http://www.viewsonic.com.au/support/manuals/files/LCd%20TV/N2750w%20User%20Guide%20English.pdf
Switch your tv over to the PC input by clicking the "Input" button. Then make sure your PC is sending a signal, you might have to hit the function key to switch the view.

I just hooked up my HP Pavilion 9000 Laptop to my Vizio TV and put the TV on correct setting. It is not working on the TV, any ideas? I went on Display setup and kept trying to connect but it says the...

If your laptop has a VGA port, your Vizio needs to have a VGA port too so you can use a standard VGA monitor cable.

If your laptop has a DVI port, you hook it up to the Vizio using a DVI-to-HDMI cable.

And if your laptop has an HDMI port, you hook it up using a standard HDMI cable.

Hope this helps.

Proscan 32'' VGA port; TV says not supported on VGA input

Sounds like your resolution on your computer is set too high for your tv to accept. Try putting your computer resolution down to 1024x768 or lower and see if that works.

From the looks of the TV manual you have everything right, so it's very odd you're running into this problem.

Have you tried swapping through the sources? I find with one of the TVs we have on display at work that any time I'm having some troubles with it I will change the source from PC to something else, then back to PC.

If that doesn't work then I'd suggest you try reseting the sound settings back to factory default. The instructions are on page 45 of the TV manual. From the TV menu select "Sound", then "Sound Reset", then either "Reset All" or "Reset Sound Mode". I would suggest reseting all.

Last option would be to try using the headphone jack in the side of the TV, though this is a last resort kind of thing since you would have to unplug it every time you wanted to use the cable box.

Hope this helps :)
