Does anyone know the default BIOS password for a CF 27. Thanks

Don't know the generic password, you probably can get it if you contact Panasonic about this, but you can however reset the password. To reset the BIOS password read the information from this link.

In case of your laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD.

Need to reset or erase admin password

There are Linux password removal programs on the Internet. It is designed to remove passwords on NT, Win 2K and XP.
You copy the program to a CD and boot up from this CD. It allows you to reset or remove the users and administrator passwords.
Google search for these programs "password recover" There is another solution. You can reinstall windows and this will give you a clean computer and possibly better performance without the accumulated junk/rubbish. Don't forget to get/download all the device drivers (eg. video, audio, modem,NIC etc.) before you start.

    Cf 73 touchscreenn

Go to the Panasonic site, go to their support pages and use the serial number from the laptop to find the original configuration. The touch screen drivers will be there, just download and install. Keep a copy of the drivers on cd for the next time your computer is reformatted or crashes.

    Hi,
Does it have floppy disk drive? If so, try creating a boot disk. Boot from the floppy, then format or re-partition. Then boot from XP CD to install XP.
