The ideal 61-165 is listed to 240v. Is that L-L, or L-N as in European voltages?

or american {110v}

you need to use a transformer to give 110-240v
the current this machine uses is less than 3amps
so a 3amp 110-240v converter is easily found on ebay for $10

The US and Canadian models are fixed voltage - 120V 60Hz. There isn't a model sold anywhere in the world that is multi voltage. The European model is 220~240V 50/60Hz

If you want to take this product abroad with you, then you will need to buy a Step Down Transformer. This will take 220~240V and convert it to 120.

The power consumption of the YSP4000 is 55W. You should over specify the Step Down Transformer by at least 20% to ensure there's enough current when the speaker needs it. 70W minimum should cover it.

To use an American Dyson in Australia you need a step up to 240v from the American 120v. Better to but a European machine that is the right voltage already.

A gadget that has a dual voltage system usually indicates a 110-220 voltage, which means that you can use it in both American and European plugs and sockets.

Since your computer has "DUAL VOLTAGE" system it can be used any where in the world.

Hello, It depends where you bought it.But now a days most of the power units come either in DUAL VOLTAGE (switchable ) or UNIVERSAL VOLTAGE ..USA (110 v AC) and European (230 V AC )..it works in between.The later one automatically accepts the plug in voltage without any switch.
If you look carefully his info should have been posted ( with tiny letters ) onto the power adapter.

Almost certainly not. Domestic appliances in the US are designed for 110v and European domestic electrical supplies are 240v. Only devices designed to be portable beween coutries, such as laptops, electric shavers etc., are fitted with automatic variable voltage inputs.

I cannot be 100% certain because I can't find a manual, but unless you can find a voltage input switch on the machine I would suggest you don't try it. 240v will not do it any good at all!

You live in the US, right?
First check the voltage rating on your power supply / charger's primary voltage range. If it states around 110V only, then you need a transformer from 230V to 110V with an euopean plug. Make sure it's a real transformer (rather heavy, rated at ~100VA will be OK), and not a lightweight high-power adaptor, used for lamps, pressing irons, heaters and similar appliances.
If on your charger it states something like "90-240V", then it will cope with the standard european voltage of 230V, and the only thing you need is a travel adapter that will have an european plug on one side and an american socket on the other.

You need a TV that supports PAL.
Or, if you want to keep your TV, you need a PAL to NTSC converter.
