Remove the toner cartridge and clean the contacts on both the cartridge and the copier with alcohol. Tap the cartridge on both ends to settle the toner. Make sure you are using genuine Sharp replacements.
yes ar021FT toner compatible for your 5516. when replacing the developer:1) pull out the toner cartridge,2) pull out developing unit with 1 screw (blue),3) in developing unit remove 2 screws (blue) to open its top cover,4) drain d unit and replesnish with new developer. do procedure 4 to 1 to return.
