Camera wont turn on, have tried charging battery but the red indicator light only stays on for a few mins? do you think i need a new battery

When the charger blinks it indicates is either charging or trying to charge.
A solid red light indicates a bad battery.

Here are a few steps to review before coming to the realization that your battery could be wasted. Give them a try and see if it helps any.
1) While your headset is charging, the indicator glows red. When your
headset is fully charged, the indicator turns off.
2) Turn off the headset: Press and hold the call control button until the indicator glows red. You will hear descending tones. When power is off, indicator stays off.
3) Turn on the headset: Press and hold the call control button until the indicator glows blue. You will hear ascending tones.

Your Olympus Camedia C-765 battery must have been tore out .If Olympus Camedia C-765 battery life is end ,it will can't charge to store electricity,but when it is insert into you camera,it will be indicates its charge is full ,because its capacity was nearly zero.I think your olympus battery has been teared out now,so you should replace it with a new battery.

Red light indicates that the camera is out of charged., Try to charged your battery for 3-4 hrs if you encounter flashing red on a fully charged battery you need to call kodak 1 800 235 6325 ext 12

You can charged you camera using 5V AC Adaptor or a USB cable taht attached into the computer

Are you sure the battery was inserted properly? Try putting it in the way that looks backwards... the battery seriously looks like it's supposed to go in the wrong way. If you're looking inside and using the spring for a reference, DON'T. The spring is only there to push the battery out, not to attach to it.

my finepixz3 got wet. but after a few days it worked! but when the battery ran out it wont charge. is it the battery? it turned on a few sec when its in the cradle but it wont last after a few seconds it would turned off. is it the battery or the camera itself?

YOU PEOPLE IT IS JUST THE BATTERY THAT IS IN IT!.. BECAUSE THAT BATTERY IS NOT ONLY FOR AFTER IT IS CHARGED IT ALSO WORKS TO SHOW THE DISPLAY SCREEN! sounds like a dead battery. Plug the origional charger into it and the front led (below the flash) should flash red. If the red led in the back of the camera flashes or stays lit, then you have the wrong charger plugged in. (the camera won't power up if the back red/green led is on when plugged in)

i had the same problem.

if your battery light is blinking a red light then you should call up casio's technical support and they'll send you a new one within 2-5 business days:)
