My washing machine is displaying an OE problem.Have checked the hose and cant see any visible problems with it.What should i do next?

There may be a few different reasons why the OE error code can display on your washing machine. Is it the LG washer getting the OE error code? A drainage problem causes "OE" to be displayed on the digital display panel. The drain hose is likely kinked, clogged or frozen. Inspect the hose and remove kinks. Unclog the hose, if needed. Replace the hose if the problem is not resolved. If the dishwasher still does not drain,

"OE" code in your washer indicates a Drain error. This is because the washer is not fully drained within 10 minutes. You have to check whether there is a kink in your drain hose, ensure the filter is clean, the drain hose can become clogged with sludge, sometimes a hot wash with 1/2 a cup of vinegar will remove this sludge.

OE means the drain hose is clogged. UE means unbalanced or overloaded. This is decribed in the owner's manual page 31-32. Pull the hose from the back of machine and rinse it out. Then, check the lint filter on the bottom, front left side. Put drain hose back and close lint filter. Unplug the machine, press and hold the start button for 10 seconds to reset machine computer (not the on button...leave machine turned off and unplugged while resetting computer) plug back in, put on no spin and start the machine. It should drain.

OE error is noyhing but an Outlet Error.. OE simply means “the pump is blocked”. Clean and straighten the drain hose / clean the drain filter. Check the hoses (drain hose) and the pump filter but if it didn't cure the problem then turn the thing upside down and strip the pump out of it check if anything is caught in the impellor.. if so remove it and everything will be fine..

Step 1: Check the drain pump filter.

Step 2: Check the washers drain hose.
If the drain hose is not installed properly, the washer will not drain properly. The drain hose should not be installed more than 1 meter higher than the bottom of the washing machine.
Step 3: Confirm that the washer is leveled properly.
If the unit is not leveled properly, it will not drain properly. The front of the unit cannot be higher than the back or vice versa. If not properly leveled, the water can flow back into the machine. If this is the cause of the problem, please level the machine using the supplied leveling wrench. When you place a LEVEL on the washing machine, the bubble should be in the center. Confrim that the washer is leveled from side to side and front to back.

OE means you have a drain problem. Check to make sure there is nothing in your drain hose. Next check to see if there is anything lodged in the pump.
