Lost manual for the AT & T 1738 answering machine and just need a refresher on how to program the message. Thanks !!

I found the link to the 1738's owner's manual on at&t's telephone equipment website:

http://telephones.att.com/telephones_ui/support/dsp_manual.cfm?manualID=21714

The link you'll need is the one on the bottom, and the steps to record the announcement are on page 1 of 2 over towards the right hand side of the page.
