Download this http://www.crazylittleworld.com/n70/egdrsetup.zip
install the application and from there you can create a .gdr format of font that can be used in your n70
once you've created a .gdr font, create a folder on your C:\System\ of your n70..just make sure you have 3rd party file manager to access the folder..then paste your .gdr font to the folder.. C:\System\Fonts\<filename>.gdr\

Hope this'll help

HI GUDPM JUST WANNA ASK HOW TO DOWNLOAD FONTS IN NOKIA N7O????

Changing N70 Fonts f you are one of those who do not like the plain default font or if you are a "dare to be different" kind of person then this one is for you! Change the fonts to whatever you have available or whatever suits your taste. Get ready for a little facelift for your phonemag-glass_10x10.gif smile.gif

Some background information: Nokia N70 does not use TTF font files, instead it uses GDR file which is a compilation of all the fonts that will be used by the phone. What we will do in the following steps is select the fonts that we want to use, use an application to compile the GDR file containing those fonts and finally uploading the font to the handset. Alright, time to begin.

#1. Download and install GDR crreator Download it here. http://www.crazylittleworld.com/n70/egdrsetup.zip
#2. Run the application. Dont worry about the funny language. I will explain how to use it to make working fonts.
#3. You will see various tabs in the application. Each tab is there to set the font for a certain part of the phone. The phone preview on the left shows the part where the font belongs. Navigate till you get familiar with what is under each tab.

#4. Under each tab, click browse to select the font, set the size (defaults should work fine unless your font is too small or too big) and select whether you want just the basic character set (ASCII/Unicode) or want all the characters + symbols from that font (Symbian/Unicode). From my experience Symbian/Unicode is only needed for Text Messaging (2nd tab in the application). See the image below for descriptions on application.

Easy GDR

#5. After you've set the font, click the "Compile Font" button (see image below) to add the font to the GDR and have a look at "Preview Font" window to get an idea of what the font will look like on the phone.

Easy%20GDR

#6. Finally, click the "Compile to GDR" button and save the file. Name it as you please.

Easy%20GDR

#7. Now transfer the GDR file to your N70 via Bluetooth. Create a folder named "Fonts" in C:\System and copy the file from inbox to the Fonts folder (like we did with the Screensaver files above). In the end you should get this - C:\System\Fonts\<filename>.gdr

#8. Delete the GDR file from Messaging -> Inbox and restart the phone.

#9. Congratulations, you've just installed new fonts on your N70. quote.gif

N72 phone

hello there!

Find this app:

FontRouter[1].LT.for.v9.Build20071109.unsigned

1) Install in the memory card.
2) Create a folder in memorycard at data en name it fonts (when there is allready one don't bother, there should b a file there called fontrouter ini
3) make fonts (choose a ttf and copy them 3 times so u have 4 fonts.
4) Rename them in2:

nohindisnr60
nohindissb60
nohinditsb60
S60ZDIGI

Now for the hard part...

5) make sure your cell doesn't use the memorycard (otherwise the mass storage won't work)....
Think about the message setting and change it in2 phone memory...
6) Connect with mass storage and rop the 4 files in the e:data/fonts
7) Unplug and reboot...
8) That's it....

When U want 2 change it, that's even harder.
Because the new fonts R being used by the memorycard, the mass storage won't work anymore. U can't delete the without mass storage....

1) Use the app X-plore and search 4 the frontrouter.ini file in the same folder.
2) Edit the file and change the setting on the 12th row:

enable=1

in2 this:

enable=0

3) save it and exit...
4) Reboot (this will restore your normal font)
5) Now use mass storage (again everything exits on the memorycard) and rename the folder fonts (E:data/fonts) in2 font (so loose the s)
6) Delete the files in there
7) Reboot and that's it.

When u want 2 change them at point 5 U have 2 drop the new ones in there after U deleted the old ones.
Then use X-plore again and edit the ini file and change it back 2:

enable=1

reboot and U have new ones....

Good luck.

Increase font size on Nokia E65 Mobile Phone

NOKIA SAYS THAT THE FONTS ARE NOT CHANGAABLE THEY ARE WRONG!
There is quite a simple way to change system fonts in the Nokia E65 phone.
The following is how I did it in my E65.
First you have to select the memory as phone NOT the memory card.
Then connect the phone to PC through the standard USB cable. When the phone prompts you, select “Data Transfer” NOT PC Suite”. Once the phone is connected you can view it as a removable drive. First check if a directory named “Fonts” exists.
If it does not exist, just create it in the resources folder. If it already exists, just make a backup copy of it.
Now, go to your PC Fonts directory (usually c:\Windows\Fonts) and do the following:
You can use any TT font I used a font called Baveuse.TTF as the bold I used the Baveuse3D.TTF as my normal font. You have to have (3) three fonts and they have to be renamed to what is below or it won’t work.
Copy Any (True Type you want) font file to:\resources\Fonts\NSSB60.ttf
Copy Any Bold (True Type) font file to:\resources\Fonts\NOSNR60.ttf
Copy again the same normal Bold (TT) font file to:\resources\Fonts\NSTSB60.ttf
The (3) Three fonts have to be renamed as above or they wont work!!!
Then just disconnect the phone from USB turn it off. Then restart your phone and put the memory back to the card and you will have the new fonts in place. This is how I did my E65 and it worked ok for me. If the fonts are to big just start over delete the three fonts and use a different font to you find one you like I like the Baveuse.TTF font its personal choice.
