Blackberry Bold 9700. The screen started going fuzzy then turned white. Each time i reboot the screen fuzzes back to white. Now obvious a LCD problem or a LCD device driver problem. I've read that you can put electrical tape over the solders of the USB behind the LCD screen and it could solve this problem?? is this possible?? or just get a new phone?

You need to determin if the SMS icon is hidden first.
Main menu > BB menu key > Show all.

If this is not the case you need to look into the message folder, found within your email icon and view folders. If SMS is missing then a handset wipe will be required.
