Call Evenflo customer service at 1-800-233-5921. I called gave them the model and manufacturing date and they emailed me the instruction manual. They will also fax or send regular mail too. The model and manufacture dates are on inside of carrier next to where the armpit level is. Hope this helps

Looking for manual..please for jogger remove red

Well this manual is a bit illusive, I have tried all my normal ways to find it for you to no avail. You may also try a baby resale shop, sometimes they may have some older product information.

I need a replacement for the part that holds the camera on the tripod. Its the square piece with a screw. the tripod number is V-2400GX

It's called a Quick Release Plate and they come in different sizes and shapes. V-2400GX is an older model made by Vivitar right? A Vivitar QB-4w Quick Release is the closest replacement available I do believe. QR-3 and QR-2 are rare as far as I know, you might find one in a resale shop someplace. I hope this helps!

My cat chewed the wire from my base unit to the electrical socket and I can't find a replacement to fit the base. Where can I buy one?

If the damage is minor, you can cut out the chewed-up part of the cord and splice the remaining parts together. You'll note that the cord is two wires running side-by-side. Separate them for a couple of inches. Strip off a half-inch or so of the insulation from the ends. Twist the bare ends together, from the wall part to the plug, and insulate the connection with electrical tape. Repeat for the other wire. Make sure you keep the polarity correct; one of the wires will have a rib on it or will be marked with a color stripe.

If the cat's made a complete hash of the cord or you don't feel comfortable trying to fix it, Radio Shack sells a good assortment of replacement adapters. You want to find a replacement with the same voltage and current rating as the original and the same size plug to fit the phone base. You might also be able to find a replacement online if you search by your phone's brand and model. Another option is to check thrift stores or resale shops like Goodwill in your area. They often have a lot of these adapters (also called "wall-warts") to pick through, and may have a suitable one. I've been able to find several I've needed at the stores here, and they're usually only a dollar or so.

Of course, the absolute last resort is to replace the phone, but that's no fun.

Radio Shack and big-box home improvement stores like Home Depot sell plastic tubing you can put around wires to gather a bunch of loose ones together and protect against further kitty attack. You might want to invest in some (it's cheap!) to avoid future damage. It's also nice for general neatening of computer or stereo hookups.

Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!

I have a gimbels sewing machine and would like to get a price for it, where do i look?

Hi. The value of any sewing machine is very subjective and depends entirely on what the buyer is willing to pay for it. Sewing machines (the older ones) were manufactured by the millions and were very sturdy--so they are still abundant and easily found--which keeps the price down. Some older sewing machines (like the Singer model 221 Featherweight or the made-in-Italy Necchis) are valued by collectors, who will sometimes pay several hundred dollars for one in great shape with all the accessories. But I've picked up excellent machines at resale shops for prices ranging from $20.00 to $50.00.

To help get a feel for what your particular machine is worth, check out what's available on ebay. There are also vintage sewing machine groups on yahoo groups so you can check there also.

Good luck,

Robbie
