I'm trying to connect a D-link DIR-615 router to my inlaws computer. They have an old motorola external modem which works fine, the new router is connected properly to the power suppy, ethernet cable from computer to router and from modem to router are both connected properly. There are 3 green lights indicating that the power is on, wireless output and the ethernet cable is in dock 1. but there is an orange light for the internet symbol. This is where the problem lies, telling me that there is no internet connection. There is obviously an internet connection to the modem because this is what i'm using to write this. Please help.
