1) if the light is flashing red then the problems is with the power supply.
2) if blue, when you say it registers the ipod, is it just charging or does the zepplin remote control show any communication to your ipod. (or does it just show that it is charging?)
3) try the rear input to see if that works, if it does, this would point to either your ipod or the docking arm.

if this is a z0/z1 or early z2 model, contact point of sale or b and w service as their are known issues with these models, (if you have not sent it back before, if you have sent it backbefore there should be a two year warranty on the product!)

hope this helps.

After plugging in my zeppelin the light flashes red continuously after a pause of ten seconds and the unit does not respond to any command, any ideas?

the red flashing is a power supply problem, nothing tends to work with this issue.
contact b and w service or point of sale as they should arrange repair as this is a known problem with this product

Recently, when I take the ipod off the Zeppelin, I hear this strange sound, not a hum, but higher in pitch, from the speakers, and when the blue light starts flashing like it's in standby the sound warbles...

there are issues relating to the older models, until the power supply board ahs been replaced and the unit tested, it is hard to say, b and w are fixing units because of the known problems, so check with their service desk.

I have used my Zeppelin with my iphone3s and ipod touch without any problem for more than a year. Lately I have been receiving a continously flashing red light when I plug my Ipod Touch and dont receive...

don't be mislead, the red flashing light is the power supply and you need to send it back for repair and have the modified board fitted. once this is resolved they should check for any other failures, but until this is changed, things will never improve.

I purchased a Zeppelin thru marriott points (skymall). I amhaving a commonly reported problem i.e. Speakers aren't working. Who do I send it to for repair?

hopefully you registerred it, contact b and w service, especially if the red light is flashing, all but most recent models have a known power supply issue.

My B&W Zeppelin wont play. The normal red stand by light is flashing, and the remote control won't work, despite trying new batteries

the red light flash relates to a fault on the power supply board, until they fix that, which is a known problem, it will not work, contact your retailer or b and w service if you have not already done so.

I am having the same problem which was being back discussed back in January by rogerbell2 in relation to the Zeppelin making a low rumbling noise. This has been going on intermittently for several months....

the rumbling would relate to component failure, and when the red light flashes the power board failure has kicked in, these are known problems with current models in all but the very latest, there are twoboards which tend to be replaces, so just contact retailer or b and w and they should fix it with no bother.
