Using the RCA RCR414BHE Universal remote, how can you cut off the TV and CAB/SAT at the same time?

The only remotes that turns everything off are satellite remotes.
(Dish Network, Direct TV, Shaw, and Bell)

Screen view area or size, font and channel logo are too large and outside the viewing area, how do we reset ?

Using your cable remote or satellite tv remote as well as the one that came with the television itself. Press the hd zoom # button on the cable remote. Satellite tv remotes will have format or aspect. For satellite tv receivers you may have to go into the menu on the satellite tv box to adjust the picture format i.e. 1080i crop and etc.

Make sure you have the television on the right input for hd and that the cable box or satellite receiver is displaying 1080 i.

I am in Kuwait and I own a HCT TV from korea. It has a beautiful picture but no sound. The cable guy here says it is because my tv doesn't pick up the sound signal. It works great with dvds and game...

First thank you for your Service, I was there in 03-04 and I also bought that type tv, if I can remember correctly that it was either in our sat dish programming or tv setting, I would choose from SAP, mono, stereo, etc and see if that changes thing, then don't know if you are on american cable satellite or overseas sat, but try going in programming with remote and check the audio and also make sure the inputs are tight. Hope this helps!

Have RCA L32HD31R flat screen TV. Codes for DirecTV sat. service do not work for their remote. Do you have any additional codes for this TV?

Need 5 digit codes for Direct TV remote, not 3 digit. I have a RCA flat screen and tried all 16 codes as per instruction from online PDF manuel and none of them work for me either.

Tv has only snowy screen. Used the remote to

What to do if you have an all snowy picture (blue screen or the TV displays unusable signal-no signal or no sync)
1 – If you are using a digital cable box or satellite receiver (make sure it’s on) and be sure your TV is set for either CH3 or CH4 (which ever you usually view it on). If you usually view it through video inputs (video1 or 2 etc.) make sure the appropriate input is selected.
If you still don’t get a signal see if you get picture using the DVD or VCR (if available) if you do than plug the satellite or Dig. Box temporarily into the place of the DVD (unplug DVD) you may have to use some A/V cables (RCA yel./red/wht like the ones on the DVD) to hook to the tv from the sat./dig. box. If you get a signal then the sat./dig box is ok. If not the Sat./dig box is not sending a signal and is either defective or needs to be rebooted (unplug wait 5 min try again).
2 – If you are using standard cable or antenna (source) if possible check that the source is good by connecting to another TV. Otherwise try running the source into a VCR and then out to the TV using video inputs (RCA yel./red/wht like the ones on the DVD) and then selecting the appropriate input. Try seeing if the VCR plays using standard CH3 (or CH4)
If the VCR plays on video input but not when connected to CH3 (CH4) then the tuner of the TV may be defective – see if you can use the VCR to change channel using the VCR remote.
