Hi,
No you are getting a backfeed from somewhere else...either the neutral is no connected properly or you have a bad ground...
It has nothing to do with the amp. rating of the switch..

Yes, you are right, so of the 4 switches i purchased, 2 work fine and 2 have the backfeed issue.. All switches do work as i installed them in other spots of my home... so how can i resolve this issue? i live in a condo if that helps... im going to purchase 2 more switches, should i buy wire and try to ground the switch to the box? Im a tinbasher, and hate electrical work :(
Are all of the switches on the same circuit, or are they on different circuits??? That could be a clue....and yes grounding to the box may help...
different circuits, one is a continuous pulse, the other is a pulse for about 5 cycles and then stops... its frustrating...
Seems as though there is something on those siruits that is causing the problems... Identify what else goes off when you kill those circuits...then unplug everything... then plug each in one by one till you find out what is causing the problems..
Are you using cfl or led bulbs? If so make sure the dimmers are rated for the type of lamp (bulb) you are using

Check to make sure you are using dimmers rated for the type of lamps (bulbs) you are using. Incandescent, cfl, led or fluorescent.
