My Canon Pixma Mini 220 is only printing yellow and blue ink, no red, even though I just changed the ink and have done the cleaning and deep cleaning cycles

Either the ink you are using is not going to give the color you want, or you have print heads that are blocked.

Canon pixma ip4300 - magenta ink is recognized but not printing

Take the print head out of the machine and sit it in a saucer of very hot ( just off boil) water about 10mm deep for a minute. Take it out and sit in on a pad of paper towel to dry briefly before returning it and the cartridges into the machine. Give it a deep clean and try again. If still no good, the print head has probably had it.

Colour printing

1) use a printer (especially inkjet once a week
2) Sometimes in the printer settings you can adjust the colors , dont'know if this works with canon also .. it is usually in the advanced printer settings .

Magenta printing as yellow

Well, first off, are the alignment, and nozzle check sheets looking good? If not, then work on that. If so, then we have a problem. Try creating a test sheet in Word. Make red, yellow blue & black text and see if anything else prints wrong. Get back to me!
