Hi there,

Try using that ac adapter on a different computer if possible to check if it charges. Or try using a different ac adapter. If your laptop works using a different ac adapter, your ac adapter is busted. If it does the same thing using a different ac adapter it is a problem with your laptop and needs a repair.

Wont start up

The problem maybe the RAM, it is faulty or just needs reseating to make proper electrical contact.
Reseat the RAM and then boot up your laptop. If it still does not boot up then remove the RAM module/s and take them to your friendly computer repair shop and get them to test the RAM for you. Just like you sometimes need a mechanic to repair your car, sometimes you do need a technician to diagnose and identify the fault or faults on your computer. Not only does a good service technican have the experience to deal with this type of problem, they also have the equipment that allows them to look at things the average computer user can't see, and he has a collection of replacement parts that can be used to quickly test individual components on your computer.

Hi! Ive bought an Asus LS246h today and it won't start. Ive checked all cables and Ive got power on the power plug. None of the lights at the monitor are working! Is my monitor defect?

Hello there,
It looks like you have a faulty monitor. Make sure the power is plugged in at the computer and a working all socket. Make sure that the Box on the power cord is connected properly. Make sure that the connections to the computer and secure and that the computer is turned on. If none of these things fix the monitor, I recommend returning it and getting it replace.
I hope this has helped! Thumbs up are much appreciated.

Hello heres my problem the power cord tip gets so hot and burns even ive replaced the battery ive replaced the cord and the tip and its stil happening help please

Seems that your notebook's power socket, where you plug the power cord, is damaged & is causing a loose connection. The loose connection causes the power socket as well as the power cord's tip to overheat & burn.
