Unfortunately, this particular Finesse machine does not say anything further. One is led to believe the brand is Finesse and the model is 827. Through research I've learned it was made or bought out by Singer, so the lady who commented January 2012 is correct with her link. (I was recently given a Finesse 827 that thankfully had the original manual with it.) Wanted to comment, in case anyone else has issues in the future.

What brand is it? Is it a Janome? It makes it very hard to help when you do not tell us the brand or a good description. Unfortunately, we do not always know just by model name.

How to thread a model 928 serger from JC Penney? I bought it at a yard sale without a Manuel and it isn't sewing correctly

Usually, there is a thread guide (picture of how to thread it) on the inside flap when you open it. You can also search online for the manual. Be sure to spell it "manual". Good luck!

My Elna 8600 is pretty new. I bought it last may

It sounds like the timing may have to be reset or adjusted - it happens, so do not be alarmed.

Open the needle plate, remove the bobbin and bobbin case and clean away any lint or thread snips that may be there.

Re-thread the machine with the presser foot up - always.

If there is still a problem find a dealer who will service the machine for you.

The Elna site should have dealer locations.

Threading this machine.???

It really sounds like you have it threaded wrongly. You should find threading instructions in that manual.

I bought a sewing maching at a yard sale and there was no manual. I am not sure how to thread my machine. It is a singer 1425N. Could you please help?

www.sewusa.com is a good place to look if your machine is not listed email them and they will help. In addition to a manual they have a threading and repair pages these should help to get you started.
