You connect POWERED speakers to the left and right outputs... You MUST use POWERED speakers or an external amplifier. This unit has a small headphone amp, but that CANNOT power passive speakers.

Have a Suzuki Hp-110 digital d electric piano after plugging in headphone into jac external speaker nolonger works

IKf you are meaning the speakers don't work when the headphones are pkuged it, that's the way it's supposed to work. If you are meaning the after you plug in the headphones and then unplug them the speakers still don't work, that means you either have a dirty headphone jack or the jack itself is broken.

I bought a Fender Frontman 212R back in March of this year. It worked brilliantly for almost six months, until July 26th, when during a jam session, the audio randomly cut out. Upon inspection, it appeared...

Try using your guitar cord to plug in and out of the headphone jack several times while unit is on. There is a circuit that disconnects the speaker when using headphones and the circuit is activated when something is plugged into the headphone jack. This "switch" can get dirty and cause the can get dirty and cause the problem you describe.

The external speakers attached to my m audio prokeys 88sx are no longer working. I have replaced the fuses in both but the fuses blow on power up. I then used the keyboard with a set of headphones. One of...

It is NOT likely the keyboard is "killing the speakers"... OR the headphones for that matter.

I suspect the problem is bad switch contacts in the headphone jack that cut off the speaker line outputs when headphones are plugged into the pro keys. These jacks are, to put it bluntly, JUNK... they are EASILY damaged by pulling the cable plugged into them sideways. You will need to service the unit.

I cannot listen to a song through my speakers and a different song with my headphones at the same time.Either I hear one song or the other but never the two at the same time..any ideas why?

I believe that only ONE audio system can be active at once so what you are observing MAY be normal. The pro DJ units have two seperate CD players and are set up to cue with headphones. See if you have a "cue" control on your system... Often the clue to these problems is in the manual which one needs to know the name of the function to search for. Learning the language is the key as indexes are useless without the "word".

Marshall MG50 DFX amp line out/headphones not working

Contrary to what's posted above, the Marshall MG series does not pass the speaker power output through the headphone jack, and inserting the headphones into the jack does not disable the speaker. The headphone amp is a separate circuit and it's input is taken before the master volume. So Jan's post is exactly right. Turn off the master volume and turn up all the other gain/volumes as high as they will go. The other issue is that the headphone jack's output does not drive low efficiency headphones well, so you need some headphones similar to Sony's MDR-V700s to hear it well. Earbuds just don't cut it.

I have a casio keyboard and if i plug headphones into the audio hole they dont work it just plays out loud. help.

It is important that your headphones are STEREO tyoe as a monaural 1/4 inch plug will short out one side of the output audio.

Make sure the plug is fully seated as it has a switch in the unit that disconnects the speakers typically when headphones are plugged in.

If your speakers do not get cut off when you plug in the headphones, it is POSSIBLLE that the switches on the jack have been broken. This would require servicing.

Peavey minx 110 no sound from main speaker but headphone jack is ok. speaker wires are attached ok.everything on the board appears to be in good shape.amp powers up and all controls work great through...

Inside the headphone jack is a built in switching mechanism. It is there to cut off the sound to the speaker when you are using headphones to practice quietly. For some reason or another it seems as if this is no longer working correctly. One of the causes of this can be bad solder joints on the circuit board where this jack is located. Another cause is a failure of the jack itself. If you are capable, Take the circuit board out and have a look. Hope this helps.
