SOURCE: leaking from the bottom
Check the peircing nozzle to make sure there are no small bits of foil from the disks in there. Descale the machine according to instructions in manual AND most useful for stopping the leaking was cleaning the little overflow nozzle located when you remove the cup stand/drip tray, followed by the splashback. The nozzle is located at the top of the little recess/indent. Clean with vinegar. Re assemble and test. Good luck.

Hi,
Have you tried using bottled water? I had the same problem and found that Spring water tasted the best.

Sounds like you have descaled machine but forgot to replace or replace cutter disc correctly. The other possible problem is that the cutter is worn and needs replacing.

Might there be some stuff crusting the dispanser vent? Did you clean it regularly? If you've not done that, this is what you do:
1) Open up the lid where the T-Disc is supposed to go.
2) Take out any moveable (not breakable) object, for instance the thing that punctuates the T-Disc(its made of two parts stuck together) and the T-Disc holder.
3) Take 'em apart and put 'em into your dishwasher or wash it by hand.
4) Wipe the entire T-disc area with a damp cloth, make sure nothing stays there that isn't supposed to be there.
5) Put the removed and cleaned parts back very carefully and watch out that they are exactly in place, if in doubt wheter they are fitted correctly, just shake them a little. There should be no movement other than up and down.
6) Enjoy your coffee!
From experience in your model and also other espresso machines there are many possible points that you may have the leak. The pump, boiler, volumetric dozer, water/steam valve are connected together with Teflon pipes and supports at the ends with the clips and one "o" ring. In one of this point the clip can slip out so the Teflon hose to be loose and so the leak. There are also some cases if the machine is more that 2-3 years one of the above parts to leak itself due to tearing out and it might need to be replaced.
So you need to remove first the top panel and then the side panel and work the machine with extra safety since we have power wires and with visual check to find the point of leak.
If it is just the Teflon pipe and clip slip out the secure it back again, if it one of the part you can try to tight up and if the leak insist then you need to replace it.
