There are a number of "electrical problems" that can cause the auger motor to not work. And there are ways to Troubleshoot it and solve the problem. Rather than go through the whole list of things, I am providing you with a link to your Owners Manual (in case you have misplaced yours), that you can download and print. http://www.traegergrills.com/Media/pdf/Manuals/BBQ075_Manual.pdf.

Keep in mind, the auger and the ignitor are 2 separate electrical devices. They work independently of each other.

Hope this helps you Troubleshoot and Solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks!

My pellet stove won't contentiously feed pellets.

There are a few possible causes for this issue with your pellet stove. One possibility is that there is an issue with the auger feeding the pellets into the burn pot. The auger could be clogged, or the timing of the auger may need to be adjusted. Another possibility is that there is an issue with the airflow in the stove, which is preventing the fire from maintaining a consistent flame. The air intake or exhaust vents could be blocked, or the blower fan could be malfunctioning. Additionally, the control board of the stove could be malfunctioning, causing the auger and blower to cycle on and off erratically. It may be best to consult with a professional technician to diagnose and fix the issue with your pellet stove.

Just bought a house with a Gibraltar SCR stove in it. I want to use this thing, but have never owned a stove and don't know how. What fuel? How to set the fuel in the stove, etc. Can you help?

Gibraltar makes coal, pellet and wood stoves. Stoves that burn wood pellets have a hopper and feeder auger that feeds pellets into the burning chamber. They also require electricity to work. From what I read online you should be able to burn wood in the stove but I believe the coal stoves have a smaller burning chamber.

No flame. The auger works fine and the pellets are feeding in. There is no fire to burn them.

Do you have a user's manual? Most pellet stoves need to be lit before starting the auger to sustain the fire.

Auger not working on Blaze King Pellet Stove

depending on how the manufacturer set up the system, there may be pellets wedging the auger. most augers are geared low enough to snap the pellet but if its something else blocking it (stick or rock etc) it may have blown a fuse for the auger drive or the drive mechanism itself. if you are going to work on the auger. UNPLUG THE STOVE AND USE TOOLS TO CLEAR BLOCKAGE as there may still be some pressure to spin auger

The auger is not turning to fill the burn pot with pellets. Can hear the motor run but it will not turn it.

Have you recently changed the brand of pellets form what you have used in the past? If so, please understand that no two wood pellet manufacturers make their pellets the same way. If this is the case, you will have to retweak your stove to that brand of pellets you're now using. Also, check the auger to make sure it's not jammed and that auger shaft is properly fitted into the auger drive motor coupling..

Hope this helps solve your problem.

How to charge an auger on traeger grill

Turn the control on high and wait about three minutes. Shut contol off and restart in about 1 minute, This should have enough pellets in the auger to start before the hot rod shuts off. You can also put a hand full of pellets in the burn pot and usually bu the time these pellets are burned out the others are there. A couple of cycles usually will start them.
