Hello, I have a Kenmore Coldspot, 106.53632300 model. Everything is functionally working, the icemaker all of a sudden stopped working since I removed the ice bin the other day. Water continues to work, ice is not being made and dumping into the bin. Thanks for any help you can provide.

first if you take off that panel there is a circuit board . unlpug the board and put it back to gether if that dont work then replace it... i sometimes get away with both! i can also get you that part pretty cheap... here is my site. grab the number and give me a call thanks.

SOURCE: Ice maker is working very slowly

This is usually caused by low water pressure from the water supply or a clogged strainer in the water inlet valve where the water supply comes in. OR
look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. + is more water.

its not defrosting. check heater operations. bimetal near heater. check defrost timer

these have to be in correctly to lock back in and allow the unit to function. Try removing the bin again and be sure there isn't any small pieces of ice trapped anywhere. Also make sure there aren't any broken pieces from the bin. Hope this helps. Good luck.
