Whirlpool dryer type EWSR-ELE-2406026-CV54 model: 7EWED1705YM0 does not light at all, remains without showing any signs of attempted operation.

If not running at all, check to be sure 240v is getting to unit. Also check thermal fuse. Could also be door switch, start button, timer, wiring, or motor.

PLEASE, I HAVE A WHIRLPOOL DRYER DWSR-ELE-2406026-CV54, THE QUESTION IS HOW MANY PHASE HAVE FOR POWER SUPPLY?

It requires two hot wires measuring 240 volts across them and 120 volts from either of them to the neutral connection. Some people refer to the two 'hots' as 'two-phase' and some refer to it as 'single-phase'. At any rate, you do NOT have three phase requirements with that dryer.

Most of the dryers have a 120volt motor which is why you need two hots and a neutral. To complicate matters, recent changes to the code now require 4 wires on newly constructed structures. Two hots, a neutral AND a bare ground wire.

Dryer stopped working

Look for an issue with the door switch. It could have even become unplugged, but these are generally good captive connectors.

Dryer will not start...checked belt and is good...dryer does have power source but no other visible problems seen...mod#: LEQ8000JQ2...ser#: MM3713012...type: DWSR-ELE-2406028-CV54....Thanks

If the lid switch is defective, the washer will not function or work at all. It is located inside the washer main housing near the door frame. When you close the door, the switch is activated by an actuator. You have to raise or open the top or front panel of the machine to reach the switch. Replace if found defective.
