Maytag washer, model #LAT9334 vibrating badly on spin cycle. The washer is leveled. Tested a quick run empty, it is even worse.

Vibration problem fixed!!  If your washer vibrates excessively, check to be absolutely sure that whoever insalled it removed the drum locking bolts (4 big bolts on back of machine).  My store installer didn't ,and the machine danced across the room.  Second appliance repair fella (he was here for something else) removed the bolts, and voila - problem solved.  Problem is he says in the three times I used it before the bolts were removed, I may have done irreparable damage (imagine the resistance with the washer trying to spin while bolts have locked it down to prevent this action).  So I'll go back for a replacement, but in the meantime, it works and vibration is entirely reasonable, and my machine is on a crappy wood floor (not concrete).

is the damper pad at the base dry.they need to be oily other wise the machine can vibrate badly.hope this helps.

THERE ARE SHOCK ABSORBERS IN THIS UNIT,SOUNDS LIKE ONE OF THEM IS BROKEN.HOPE THIS HELPS

HI!!! I used to work for maytag and this model vibrates and moves around ..we used to install skid pads so that it would not vibrate and move..also make sure that the unit is not off balance.. You should have 4 knobs underneath the unit so that you can adjust it..Good Luck..
