Buy yourself a HDMI graphics card (or adaptor) for the Desktop pc and connect it to the Acer aspires HDMI input.

Touch screen lost data z5700
you may need to reinstall the touch screen driver, and then calibrate it. If that doesnt work then the screens sensors could be bad.

Is the HDMI connection on the Acer Aspire Z5700 a out or in connection (Can it be connected to a TV)
As far as I am aware they are out. Check in your manual or go online to Acer's web site and download an electronic manual.
