Question about Kid Designs Barbie Shopping Time Cash Register

Bit cheesed off. I have phoned the Sharps helpline & they cannot help me which seems a bit ridiculous. I have a Sharps XE-A203. The screen has told me I have a low battery so batteries were changed immediately. I am now left with an IPL message on screen which no-one seems to understand. Help please? Can I use a barcode reader with the Sharp XE-A203


No, You can not use a bar code scanner with any Sharp machine that model number starts XEA-.
The eqivilent Casio models SES300 and SES2000 do have the ability to use a scanner.

press CL key ,didnt change display,

when power on & remove your batteries one by one
then replace batteries again one by one

display **** MRS *************** and press CL key

then machine came normal condition

but your data is lost.
reenter your detailss

Sharp XE-A203 software compatibility with vista 64-bit


to get the register to communicate with your vista or to even run the customer support tool software you will need to uninstall, reinstall, right click on the icon on your desktop, choose properties,in the compatibility box put a checkmark in the "Run this program as administrator",
everything should operate normal now with no errors
