The HTddwg700 system used to work. When I uerned it on recently no sound was coming from the speakers. I checked the connections and did the autocalibartion again and it said that no speakers were connected and they are. I wonder if there had been a short circuit and the protective device had been activated. I tried mnay things form the manual but nothing works. I cant find any instructions on what to do about this. Thanks Marita

SOURCE: connection/sound issues!

the best thing to do is if ur lcd has a phono in/out is to connect ur theatre system through phono straight to the tv as then everything that comes up on the tv comes throught the theatre system

SOURCE: Sony center speaker and rear speakers don't work all the time

try using another speaker for the center channel and the left speaker, also watch your ohm load, most of the want a 4 ohm load. try to narrow it down to see if it is the speaker or the amp.

Screeching noise coming from my tv

Is the sound coming from the speakers or from the actual television? If from the speakers, I would check all connections for the sound system. If from the actual television frame and housing, check for a fan ( to cool electronics) canned air or compressed air can work wonders for cleaning out dust which can cause mechanical sounds. If it's coming from the speakers, there is an electronic problem which is usually related to cable connection issues. Have you made any changes recently? If so, check those connections. Unplug them, and make sure they are securely plugged in. I would assume this would fix any problems, if not, there is a problem with one of your devices... I'm convinced you have a bad connection somewhere or a bad audio cable.

No surround sound when playing PS3 through HTDDWG700 via 2 HDMI

The HTDDWG700 does not transfer the audio through the HDMI cable that the vision goes through. To solve the problem i got an optical cable and connected the PS3 to the receiver with the optical and put the HDMI cable from the PS3 to the tv.

Bose Companion 3 Series II not working (Mac)

The speakers seem to be muted by default - you'll see that the LED is yellow/amber. Tap the control pod - the LED will turn green and speakers will work. I felt like such an idiot after I spent almost an hour trying to figure this out. (This feature should be more prominent in the manual.)

DURABRAND 2.0 CH USB COMPUTER SPEAKERS

try going to control panel, the system icon, hardware tab, divice manager, check to see if your sound card does not have a yellow ! icon next to it, if it does try right click, go to properties, and reinstalling it, it does help if the computer is hooked to the internet so it can find it automaticly over the internet.
