I have a gigabyte ga-p35c-ds3r motherboard, and I am trying to hook the computer to a hdtv. I have installed the latest realtek drivers from the gigabyte site for hd audio, but am getting no sound. The connection is hdmi to hdmi using an nvidia gt250 video card. The card has plugs on it for pass through audio, but I cannot find any spdif plugs on the motherboard. From looking at the manaul and the board itself, the only spdif out connections are on the back using either a digital coax cable or an optical cable. If there are no pins on the board to use the pass through feature on the video card, can digital coax cables be ran through a splitter? Thanks...

SOURCE: My Computer is Keep Restarting

May be you should try to change all your old ELCO and DDR bus termination regulator (the type is vary depend on the manufacturer) on the GA-EP35-DS3R ...AFTER you buy yourself a new board...or try to check your powersupply current and voltage..check your hdd for bad sector, check your memory for a defective chip (with a multitester, a hirens boot cd or mini pe or bart pe), check your proc and chipset temperature..

I NEED SOUND DRIVERS OF GIGABYTE GA-8IG1000MK MOTHERBOARD FOR WINDOWS 7

I don't think Gigabyte did any drivers for this motherboard for windows 7. You could try the generic divers on the realtek site.
www.realtek.com/downloads
Then select the AC97 codes the version 7.094 is the win 7 one. It should work.

Please shutdown and plug realtek pcie card to complete the installation

I used the main Gigabyte G31m version 1.1. and get the same error. If I use latest version for network adapter driver (realtex 8139, version: 5.703 (8/28/2008)), it will not work. Then, I change use driver with version: (realtex 8139, version: 5.635 (9/23/2005)), it works well! It seems the driver with version:5.703 (8/28/2008) get another error.

Hello, i recently bought a new motherboard a Gigabyte GA-8I915P for no reason the mic doesn't work, I've already installed the latest audio drivers for this motherboard, the speakers work fine but why...

Maybe it's not recognized. Unplug every audio device, open Realtek HD Audio Manager and start plugging them back one at a time, the manager should automatically detect that something was plugged in a specific port. Just tell it what you have plugged.
