May be you should try to change all your old ELCO and DDR bus termination regulator (the type is vary depend on the manufacturer) on the GA-EP35-DS3R ...AFTER you buy yourself a new board...or try to check your powersupply current and voltage..check your hdd for bad sector, check your memory for a defective chip (with a multitester, a hirens boot cd or mini pe or bart pe), check your proc and chipset temperature..

Realtek AC 97 is the only driver for this board, did you install the 64 bit driver rather then the 32 bit driver?
