Was given the ice cream maker without the instruction manual. Please help.
You can find a *free* (not like the other link posted) PDF download at http://www.makeicecream.com/icecreammaki.html . It's down near the bottom of that page, but it's called "Simac Il Gelataio Junior Ice Cream Maker Instruction Manual". It's not entirely helpful, but it's the same manual that came with my Lello 4070.

The Simac is now known as the Lello.
Looks like this Lello 4070 is made by Simac.
For problems with Simac products, I would recommend visiting www.delonghi-accessories.com. Delonghi is the parent company of Simac, and that site is run by a US distributor and lists Simac products, along with contact numbers for support.
If you speak Italian, you could also try www.simac-vetrella.com, that looks like Simac's main website.

Rubber gasket that was factor installed in Gelato Maker Lello 4070 was accidentally removed by a child. How do I replace it back into/onto the machine or do I have to remove housing or disassemble machine to put it back where it belongs? Rubber gasket sits on top of rim that the removable 1 quart cylinder rests on.
