Sewing Machine Balance wheel moves, but nothing in side of machine or needle shaft move.

ensure the bobin winding is dis-engaged if this is still in wind mode the rest of the machine is stopped for safety.

some machines when the bobbin winder is engaged will not sew, do you
have to disengage the center wheel in the handwheel to wind a bobbin?
or do you have to just move the bobbin winder spindle to the right to
wind the bobbin?
do you have a manual for the machine?

it sounds like the machine needs to be serviced

turn the sewing machine completely off
rethread the machine the top thread & bobbin, if possible use a different spool of thread for top & bobbin
then turn the sewing machine on again & see if you still get the same message, if the same message still displays,,then it needs to be serviced

Force the balance wheel backwards, you may have thread stuck round the raceway

Sounds like the balance wheel (handwheel has come loose. take off the drive belt and check the two screws holding the wheel in place.

Sounds like your worm drive gear is striped and needs to de replaced. If you twist the handel on the end of machine does the needle move up and down.

well try to rotate hand wheel center holder clockwise while hold grift the handwheel not to move to engage the clutch,because ther is clutch that holding the movement of the needle and the bobbins case.if still nothing change at all,open a cover motor assembly chech the belt tension if still engage on pulley,maybe slip pulley is occuring when motor run,if belt is slip to pulley replace belt,but if ok upon clutch adjustment ignore replacement.

machine was working fine when suddenly it just jammed up. Everything seems to be fine, but the balance wheel is completely jammed rigid. I've looked at the shuttle and there are no thread jams at all. The needle moves fine from side to side with different stitch selections, but wont go up and down with the wheel.
I have tried looking in the machine, but I can't find any thread jammed.
