I have a philips mms321 speakers. they are working fine on my laptop but not working on my PC. I think i need to install some drivers on my PC. Can u guide me which driver to install??

Go to the website http://www.ma-config.com/
there go to the "detect your configuration" option, follow the automatic detection step.
it will detect all the devices attached with the computer and from there you can install the sound drivers.
If you know the model number and the make of the computer...go to there website and you can download the drivers from the website as well

No sound from speakers. keeps saying no audio device. same speakers worked before, now they do not work anymore.

you uninstalled your hardware device drivers, or your sound device is out. Solution is: install drivers for your device , or buy another sound card. I souppose your sound card is integrated on the motherboard, so you have another slot to plug it in.

Using Philips SPA5200 speakers on a compaq laptop running vista. Control panel device manager says that the driver software is installed but device will not start code10. Control panel sound says no audio...

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers or uninstall
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
make sure you have an earth ******** before touching any parts inside your computer
hope this helps

Philips speakers wont work on dell desktop

I'm assuming you have plugged the speaker wires into the correct ports.
In Control panel, pick the sound icon and click to open it, do you have the sound driver showing (it will say no audio device if you do not).
If not, download the driver from the motherboard or sound card manufacturer
Check the desktop speaker icon is not disabled
Check the line out is set to high

Repost if these don't solve the problem

I have the philips 2.3/mms203. Sound is only coming out of 1 speaker. If I wiggle the line in wire, I can get sound out of the 2 remotes, but not the subwoofer. Any thoughts on how to correct. Thank you

In most cases when you "wiggle" the jack plug and there is a difference in sound output, the problem is going to be with the jack itself on the soundcard, whether it is integrated in the motherboard or on an expansion slot....there is a small falt tension spring inside the jack itself and overtime, this spring weakens and can no longer hold proper tension on the plug. The only solution is to either desolder the jack and remove it from the motherboard or card, or just buy another inexpensive sound card and install it into a free expansion slot. I do not think it has anything to do with the speakers themselves.

I reinstalled Windows Xp pro when i upgraded my hard drive. Now, in sounds and audio devices it says i have no device. and there are no sounds

u need to install sound drivers from the CD that came with your PC
if u have a custom built PC then use the motherboard CD for the sound card installation....
if all efforts fail the the best solution for the time is
use a USB Sound Card adaptor, buy in Ebay for 1$, attach it to the USB port and connect the speaker sound oput jack in that adaptor...that will buy some time to solve ur sound card issue...
i too had the same issue and till date i am on my USB sound card system...i am Ok with it....
