It may be related to TSB 08-027-06 which calls for a TIPM software update. The TIPM module is part of what controls the rear wiper. You will be stuck going to a dealer to have the software update performed though.

The wipers quit on my 06 cruiser. they had been coming on and off by themselves for a while and then just quit. the back wipers work fine.

if power to wiper motor, then replace the wiper motor. if no power when switch is on, it is most likely the wiper switch thats bad. check the relays and fuses first! good-day!

I HAVE A 2006 PT CRUISER THE REAR WIPER JUST STOPPED WORKING

The wiper motor may have gave out its located in the rear hatch interior panel. Although your problem could simple be that the fuse has blown and do need to replace it. Generaly the fuse panel is located directly under the dash panel and some times in the glove box. The only other promlem whould have to reside id a bad wiring conection simply use a voltage meter to check continuity.

2006 PT Cruiser Wipers Don't work

I had the same problem. It was the wiper computer module according to the dealership. Fortunately it was covered under extended warranty and cost $100 deductible.
